Dear Employees and Business Partners,
In 2025, LIGNA once again proved to be the central meeting point of the global woodworking community. 1,300 companies from 50 countries presented their latest technologies and solutions for the future of the wood industry across ten exhibition halls and the outdoor grounds. Around 80,000 visitors from 156 nations took the opportunity to network and exchange knowledge. This year, LIGNA celebrated its 50th anniversary – and we are proud to have been part of this success story for three decades. Over time, MS Maschinenbau has become a permanent fixture at the trade fair. At our 130 m² booth, we welcomed guests from 54 countries. Supporting our long-standing customers, establishing new contacts, and securing new orders once again demonstrated that LIGNA has been and remains the showcase of the international wood industry.
At the end of the year, we also achieved two important milestones that confirm our international presence:
The assembly and commissioning of a complete MS sawmill line in Algeria was successfully completed. The sawmill consists of a high-performance circular saw DBS-450 and an HNS-2 multiple-blade resaw, both in twin-shaft design. In addition, the line includes an MBS-BV resaw with automatic width adjustment and feed speeds of up to 100 m/min, log infeed, and various mechanizations including conveyor systems. We thank our Algerian partner for your trust and wish them continued success!
A new order from the United Kingdom – a traditional family business has purchased a resaw line with automatic EZV feed as well as a powerful two-shaft multiple-blade saw HNS‑2. The machine offers a cutting height of 260 mm and a cutting width of 750 mm. Its robust design, exceptionally high performance and simple of operation and maintenance convinced the customer. Our line will now handle the entire resawing of all timbers coming from the existing frame saw.
These projects impressively emphasize the worldwide demand for our technology and the strength of our solutions.
