Despite the recent negative economic indicators, MS MASCHINENBAU looks to the future with great confidence. In our 35-year history, one thing has remained constant – our belief in adapting the sawmill machines we develop to specific customer requirements. This means we continue to develop further over the course of our company’s history. Thanks to this conviction and ability, a company based in a small village in Lower Saxony has become known in 50 countries around the world.

Two new orders received are related to the above statements. An order came from a renowned carpentry with over 100 years of company history in Bavaria/Germany. Based on customer-specific requirements, we developed a concept for a multiple crosscut saw type MAS with 6 (!) saw supports and adjustable cutting inclination. Our concept convinced the customer and we are looking forward to this demanding challenge. The second order came from on sawmill in Treyvaux, Switzerland, which we are particularly pleased about. The family business has existed for five generations and as part of the extensive renovation of on sawmill, a new recut sawing system is planned. After the first contact on LIGNA-23, our employee visited on sawmill in July to get an on-site impression. Due to the negotiating space and in accordance with specific customer requests, we presented the customer with a concept based on the extremely powerful two-spindle multiple-blade circular saw type HNS-2 with saw motors 2×160 kW(!). In August, the customer’s management came to us to discuss the final details. The customer was very impressed by the heavy construction and extremely high performance of the circular saw and decided in favor of our offer. We are very happy about such a valuable order and thank you for your trust!

In August, we welcomed the management of BORDER TIMBERS LTD, Zimbabwe. You have familiarized yourself with our production and accepted a sawmill that you ordered and has already manufactured. The sawmill consists of a powerful circular saw type DBS-450 and a multiple-blade saw type HNS-2. Both machines have a double shaft design. Two multiple-blade circular saws type MBS are also planned for recutting and trimming. Various mechanizations are also included. This is the 6-th sawmill we supply to Zimbabwe. An important topic of the visit was the further development of sawmills in the African country. MS MASCHINENBAU sees itself in demand and at the same time called upon to make an important contribution to the development of Africa with our experience and sawing technology. At this point, we would like to thank BORDER TIMBERS, one of the largest forestry companies in South Africa, for the trust they have placed in us. Loading to BORDER TIMBERS in 5 (five) sea containers takes place at short notice.

In September, we completed the assembly and commissioning of the round log sorting-line type RSA in Bulgaria. The line runs in fully automatic operation and includes a debarking machine. Thanks to our system, the Bulgarian sawmill has a decisive influence on the quality of the wood chips it produces. Another debarking machine from our production type HEM-600 was delivered to Latvia. A medium-sized sawmill from Zilakalna pagasts exports cut goods mainly to Japan and the Asia-Pacific region and is preparing for the growing demands of the Asian market with a “Made in Germany” machine from MS MASCHINENBAU.
