Despite a whole series of special challenges, such as geopolitical unrest, rising energy prices, material shortages and economic uncertainties in many markets, the mood in the woodworking industry is good. The LIGNA is a central meeting point for development and innovation for the woodworking community and offers a unique platform to present innovations and discuss new trends in a personal exchange. From May 15th to 19th, 2023, the industry will meet at the world’s leading trade fair in Hanover.

Deutsche Messe AG has developed a comprehensive set of rules for the protection of all people involved during the event, both for trade fair visitors and for people involved in the organization and exhibition. The corona-related access restrictions to the exhibition center no longer apply. The vaccination status is not queried, nor is a negative corona test proof required. There is no longer a general obligation to wear masks on the exhibition grounds and in the halls of Deutsche Messe.
