This autumn, MS MASCHINENBAU had the pleasure of welcoming two delegations from far-flung corners of the world to Fischbeck.
Visit from Panama
In September, we hosted a medium-sized company from Panama that operates in the plantation timber sector and is planning the construction of a new sawmill for fast-growing timber. MS MASCHINENBAU has been a well-known name in South and Central America for many years – dozens of our machines are successfully operating there and enjoy an excellent reputation for reliability, robustness, and performance. Based on these positive references, the entrepreneur traveled over 9,000 kilometers to Fischbeck to see our production facilities firsthand. The visit confirmed his expectations – he was able to see for himself how MS machines are built.
Visit from Japan
In October, a delegation from Japan followed. Initial contact was made at LIGNA 2025, where a Japanese machinery dealer expressed great interest in a collaboration. Japan is a new market for us with high demands – particularly regarding precision, robustness, and adaptability to specific power grids. Together with a long-established, fifth-generation family-run sawmill company from Hokkaido, a delegation visited our production facility. In addition to in-depth discussions, we also organized tours of two sawmills to demonstrate the capabilities of our machines in practical application.
We conducted very productive and intensive negotiations with both companies. We are now in the planning phase and are confident that we will be able to finalize contracts in the near future.
