MS MASCHINENBAU is globally networker and delivers its machines all over the world. First, a delegation from our major customer in Zimbabwe was in Fischbeck, now another foreign visitor has followed.
A business delegation from Argentina recently visited Fischbeck. Representatives from the metal industry, agriculture, window and façade technology and industrial air conditioning technology were guests at the Fischbeck industrial estate. MS MASCHINENBAU produces sawmill machines and exports to 51 countries worldwide. Especially to South America. This is “a well-known, good market”, explains our Managing Director Ulrich Schmitz, who founded the company around 40 years ago and has built it up piece by piece since then, to the regional newspaper DeWeZet.
The Argentinian business delegation and MS MASCHINENBAU were brought together by the Argentinian company Global Konnex, which specializes in bringing companies together, with the support of the Argentinian embassy in Germany. The main aim of the visit was to establish contacts, but also to facilitate technical and commercial assignments between companies to strengthen business and economic relations. Ulrich Schmitz considers this visit by the Argentinian delegation to be immensely important. In the future, sawmill machines from Fischbeck could find their way to Argentina, where they could then be assembled and commissioned locally. During the tour of the production halls, Schmitz emphasized: “All machines are developed, designed and built by us.”
Fischbeck’s Mayor Michael Kipp was also present and described the medium-sized company to the guests from Argentina at the champagne reception as an “excellent, top-class company”. “It’s great to see that we have companies in Fischbeck that operate all over the world and even attract a delegation from Argentina, some 12,000 km away. Many thanks to MS Maschinenbau- u. Vertriebs GmbH for allowing me to be here today,” said the mayor, Mr. Kipp. With around 30 employees, the company is also an important economic factor for Fischbeck and Hessisch Oldendorf.
In October and November, our program included numerous loading operations. Our long-standing business partner, a pallet manufacturer from Sauerland, received an HDS resaw with two adjustable saw bushes, a spring-loaded riving knife and an automatic infeed roller with pneumatic pressure. A THK drum chipper from our production went to a sawmill in Lower Saxony. The chipper is optionally equipped with a metal detector and takes over the shredding of residual wood from the entire sawmill. We would like to thank them for the trust they have placed in our machines!
We shipped six sea containers to two of our customers in Zimbabwe/Africa. In order to further optimize the production processes, BORDER TIMBERS LTD ordered various mechanizations from us in addition to the sawmill system already ordered and delivered. We adapted our production plans to the urgent needs of our customer and produced the order in a short time. After successful acceptance in September, we delivered a sawmill line to ALLIED TIMBERS LTD, the largest timber and forestry company in Zimbabwe. We would like to thank the two Zimbabwean forestry companies for their many years of cooperation and wish them continued success!
